Sweets - Corgi and Pomeranian Dog for Adoption in Lacon, Illinois

Sweets (DOB 6/17/18) found herself in animal control when her parents went to a nursing home and the extended family didn't want to keep her. The ARK tagged her for rescue, she was out into temporary foster, and then transported to The ARK. Seriously- her name fits her perfectly. You want a lap dog? She's your lap dog. She is a precious Corgi-Pom mix and weighs a petite 9 pounds.

The ARK does vet checks. To speed up the adoption process during open viewing hours, we encourage adopters to bring along copies of their vet records, which would include proof of spay-neuters, up-to-date on vaccines, and proof of heartworm testing and prevention for dogs.
