Delilah came to us quietly and softly. She just slipped in and got to work fitting in and acclimating herself to life in the shelter. One person in her life had passed away and the other was not able to keep her.
Delilah brought with her an easy-going personality, a desire to please and an up-for-anything attitude. She is a healthy, 4-year-old, beautiful red coonhound,
Delilah did well in the car, charmed everyone at the vet and has yet to meet a stranger. She is house-trained and crate-trained and now just needs the last part of her equation - a new family.
Delilah seems like a gift in a world where sometimes we just get the ones who have so much to overcome, just to be ready for a family.
So please come say hey there, Delilah to this amazing girl. Maybe even sing the song to her - it will be time very well spent.
