Fosters, Alabama

DESCRIPTION

🐾 Brassy’s Adoption Bio (as dictated by Gumbo, obviously):

Well, well, well. Look who decided to survive the shelter system and come out looking like a Disney side character.

This is Brassy.
She is allegedly a collie mix, which in shelter language means:
“medium fluff, questionable heritage, 10/10 would herd your emotional instability.”

Let’s address the obvious—
She has one blue eye and one brown eye, which means she can:

* Judge you in stereo
* See both your past mistakes and your future bad decisions
* And still decide to love you anyway (questionable judgment on her part, frankly)

Brassy is the only girl of the group, which means she has spent her entire life so far:

* Climbing over brothers
* Being outnumbered
* And already learning patience at a level most humans never achieve

She didn’t ask for this life. She just woke up one day in a loud, scary shelter where puppies like her don’t get a lot of time to figure things out. But here’s the thing—she made it out. And now she’s sitting there, chin on the gate, like she’s quietly asking:

“Is it my turn yet?”

She’s soft. She’s observant. She’s got that thoughtful little face like she’s trying to understand the world instead of bulldozing through it.

Translation:
She’s going to bond HARD with her person.

Now let’s be clear—she’s still a puppy.
She will:

* Chew something you love
* Forget everything you taught her approximately every 3 hours
* And sprint through your house like she pays the mortgage

But she’s also going to:

* Follow you around like you hung the moon
* Learn your routine faster than you expect
* And grow into that once-in-a-lifetime dog people always say they “got lucky with”

You don’t get lucky.
You choose them.

So here’s your moment.

Come get the girl who watches before she leaps.
The one who didn’t get as loud as the rest… but didn’t get left behind either.

Adopt Brassy.
Before one of her brothers convinces everyone he’s cuter. (They’re not. I checked.)
