Meet Mildred — Millie

Millie is a 9+ year-old Cocker Spaniel and puppy mill survivor. Her story is exactly why rescue matters.

Today, Millie underwent a spay, treatment for dual ear infections, extensive dental extractions, and removal of four mammary tumors. Her rotten teeth had caused painful pus pockets, leaving her with only a couple of teeth.

Despite everything she has been through, Millie is learning what it means to be loved. She is still shy and learning to trust people, but she loves being wherever her people are. She gets along with dogs and cats, is working on housebreaking, and loves going outside to soak up the sunshine.

Millie would do best with older children, as fast movements can still intimidate her.

Now, shes looking for a forever home where she can continue to blossom and finally live the life she deserves.
