EVANGELINE - Chocolate Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Warwick, Rhode Island

Meet Evangeline — A Beautiful Soul with an Extraordinary Spirit!

Some dogs steal your heart before you even meet them. Evangeline is one of those dogs!

At just a year and a half old, this gorgeous, medium-sized girl has been through something unimaginably cruel. But here’s what makes her so incredibly special...

She hasn’t let her past steal her joy!

With her stunning amber eyes, adorable curls, goofy personality, and beloved tennis ball, Evangeline is simply AMAZING! And you absolutely have to see her version of “Say cheeeese!” This girl knows how to flash a smile!

Evangeline is enjoying life in her foster home, surrounded by dogs, cats, and young children, including her foster mom’s three young grandchildren!

She’s playful, affectionate, and has a wonderfully silly side! She even has some bird dog tendencies and loves romping through tall grass, pointing at grasshoppers and frogs! She’s also great on leash and has pretty good recall.

Evangeline enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those similar to her in size.

Despite everything she’s endured, Evangeline continues to embrace life with enthusiasm, love, and joy.

Her past doesn’t define her. It’s the beautiful, happy dog she is today that deserves to be celebrated.

Now all she needs is a family to cherish her, keep those tennis balls coming, and give her the love and security she deserves.

Her past is only one chapter. Let’s make the rest of her story filled with love and happiness.
