Coco - Chocolate Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Stanton, Kentucky

Petite Coco is only 30 lbs full grown. She is a young adult thought to be 1-2 years old. She arrived on a stranger's doorstep making friends with a neighbor dog. She hung around quite loyally until it was time to find a better situation. Coco is friendly, quiet and calm. She is respectful and good with other pets. She does require a fenced yard as she may not feel she is deserving of having her own home as it would be an unfamiliar situation. We are sure she is ready to learn different and become a super loyal family member.

Coco is spayed, heartworm negative and UTD with vaccines. Her breed mix is not certain.

We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help.

ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $175- $200 Cats $100. (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.)

Families with young children are required to have a fenced yard to prevent accidental escape of pets.

The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 9 - 3 p.m. except Thursdays (closed). Appointments are recommended. Saturday hours normally 10 - noon or by appt.

After hours appts can be arranged with advance notice and an approved application. We want to accommodate!

We are glad to answer any questions. Adoption rates include a spay or neuter, vaccines, & deworming. Surgeries are mandatory!
