Meet Reno — 89 Pounds of Cool, Calm Labradorableness!
Reno is a 12-year-old Chocolate Lab and one big, lovable lug. This handsome senior is friendly, mild-mannered, and about as calm and easygoing as they come. He enjoys meeting new people, gets along well with other dogs, and has previously lived with cats.
Reno may be a senior, but he still has plenty of love to give. He is partially deaf and has some weakness in his back legs due to muscle atrophy. He is currently attending physical therapy to rebuild strength and improve his mobility. He may need a little assistance with things like getting into a vehicle and would do best in a home prepared to accommodate his physical needs.
Reno has Cushing's disease, which is being managed with medication. Because the medication and ongoing veterinary care can be costly, Reno needs an adopter who is financially prepared and fully committed to maintaining his treatment.
None of that has diminished Reno's sweet spirit. He remains an affectionate, gentle companion who would be happiest in a patient, loving home where he can enjoy a comfortable retirement. He isn't looking for adventures or long walks—just a soft place to rest, people to love, and someone devoted to helping him feel his best.
Reno is neutered and microchipped. If you have room in your heart and home for a wonderfully calm senior—and are prepared to support his ongoing medical and mobility needs—Reno would love to meet you.
