Meet Wilford!

Wilford is a 1.5-year-old Chinese Crested mix who firmly believes his humans are the most interesting thing in the room—and honestly, he may have a point.

He’s fine around other dogs and cats (mostly ignores them), but his eyes? Those are reserved for his person. Wilford is incredibly human-focused, eager to please, and happiest when he can be close to his people. He’s done well with his house training and is a smart little guy who wants to get things right.

His one strong opinion? Crates are absolutely not his thing. He would much rather be hanging out with his humans, so a home where someone is around often would be ideal. Because he’s not a fan of being crated, he needs a home with no shared walls.

Wilford is looking for humans who want a devoted little shadow and are ready for plenty of companionship. He’d do best in an adult only home. He came to us heartworm positive and is being treated. He will be due for retesting in August 2027.
