Romeo - Chihuahua and Dachshund Dog for Adoption in South Houston, Texas

Romeo is a 2 and a half year old Chiweenie who weighs 10 pounds. This sweet little boy is affectionate, friendly, and happiest when he is close to his people.

He loves being petted, curling up in a warm lap, and following his favorite person wherever they go. Romeo is a true Velcro dog who is looking for a family that will enjoy giving him plenty of love and companionship.

Romeo is crate trained and doing well with potty training when kept on a consistent routine. Because he is such a tiny dog, he needs frequent potty breaks throughout the day, especially after waking from a nap, eating a meal, or coming out of his crate. His foster family is continuing to learn his schedule and helping him develop a reliable routine.

Romeo is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children who are gentle, polite, and respectful toward him. He also does very well on long car rides and would make a wonderful travel companion.

Adoption fee: 800
The adoption fee includes veterinary care, health certificate, and out of state transport costs. Romeo is fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, current on prevention, and microchipped. All adoption fees are considered donations to support our 501(c)(3) rescue and help us continue saving dogs and cats.
