Auston - Australian Kelpie and Chocolate Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in South Houston, Texas

Auston is a handsome one year old Kelpie/Lab mix pup. He currently weights 42 lbs. He is the perfect Medium sized pup.

Auston enjoys exploring the neighborhood on long and short walks, riding in the car, going out for a latte at the local coffee shop, and playing fetch.

At the dog park he easily makes friends. He is happiest when he’s part of the action.

He absolutely loves other dogs and would enjoy a home with a playful canine companion. He also enjoys trips to the dog park where he can run, play, and make new friends.

Like many adolescent dogs, Auston is still learning his manners. He is a smart pup who is eager to learn. He is treat and food motivated. Auston would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.

Auston is good with children, but because of his playful energy, we recommend a home with older, dog savvy children.

If you’re looking for an adventurous, affectionate best friend who will happily join you for walks, car rides, hikes, trips to the park, and endless games of fetch, Auston is ready to be your loyal sidekick.

The adoption fee includes all veterinary care, a health certificate, and out of state transportation costs. Auston is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, on prevention, and heartworm negative.

Out of state adoption available. All of our dogs are rescued from the Houston, Texas area and transported to approved adopters throughout the United States. Auston is ready to pack his bags and find the family he’s been waiting for.
