Dorado was part of an accidental litter and surrendered to a kill shelter after fully weaned. He is a very happy guy and is just as playful and cuddly as he is cute! He is potty and crate trained, and does great with dogs and people! He is still in his puppy phase, so would do best with older kids!
He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Dorado, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.
Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.
Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.
Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
