MEET CHEF!

Chef is an adorable 2-year-old, 8 lb. male Deer Head Chihuahua who came to FLOP after his elderly breeder was no longer able to care for the dogs.

This little guy is friendly, energetic and curious and loves exploring his surroundings. He’s incredibly sweet, but he’s also a bit more timid than some of the others from his situation. He simply hasn’t had much experience with people or life as a beloved pet yet—and we can already see so much potential in him.

Chef does wonderfully with other small dogs and gains confidence from having them around, so another friendly small dog will be REQUIRED in his forever home. A fully fenced yard is also REQUIRED so he has a safe place to explore, play and continue building his confidence.

He is crate trained and working hard on his house-training skills.

Chef may need a little patience while he figures out this whole “being someone’s spoiled little dog” thing, but we have a feeling the family willing to give him that time is going to end up with one incredibly special little guy.

He’s sweet, curious and just waiting for someone to show him how wonderful his new life can be.
