Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption in Pueblo, Colorado

Meet sweet little Hazelnut — a tiny Chihuahua with a big personality and an even bigger smile! 🐾

Hazelnut is a spayed female Chihuahua who came to us as a stray, and she has already won us over with her adorable wiggle and happy little grin. This tiny girl may be small, but she knows what she likes! Hazelnut can be a little spicy when touched where she doesn’t want to be, but she also has a very sweet and charming side that makes everyone fall in love with her.

Hazelnut has just recently been spayed and has not officially been dog tested yet, but we will continue to learn more about her as she settles in.


Hazelnut was found as a stray,and will need a safe, secure yard to help keep her safe. She would do best in a home with older kids who can respect her boundaries and understand that sometimes she likes her space. Hazelnut is the perfect mix of spicy and sweet and will thrive with a patient family who appreciates her personality.

We are now accepting applications for Hazelnut. As with all of our animals, placement is not first come, first served — we focus on finding the best possible fit for Hazelnut to set her up for success. Once applications are approved, we will contact selected applicants to schedule a meet.
