Yellow Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption in Pueblo, Colorado

Dug is a handsome Lab mix who hasn’t had the easiest start in life, but you’d never know it from his sweet nature. Found as a stray, he’s been through a lot—and we’re so happy to see him starting to feel better each day. 💛

He’s had some stomach issues while in our care, but we’re hopeful he’s on the right track and continuing to improve.

Dug is a loving boy who walks nicely on a leash and enjoys being out and about. He does have a lot of energy and can get pretty excitable, so he’ll do best with an active home that can give him regular walks, hikes, and positive guidance to help him thrive.

He’s done well with the dogs we’ve introduced him to so far. We are still learning about how he does with small children—he has shown some reactivity in his kennel, which may be due to the kennel environment. We’ll continue working with him to better understand his needs.
