Kia - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Portland, Oregon

My name is Kia and I am a Chihuahua mix (maybe with a little Pug mixed in?) who weighs about 20 lbs.

As for my age... well, that's a bit of a mystery! The shelter estimated I was around 2 years old, but when I arrived my teeth were in pretty rough shape, making our veterinarian wonder if I might be closer to 6. The good news is I had a dental cleaning, and my teeth cleaned up beautifully... so the truth is, we may never know! I can't exactly tell anyone when my birthday is.

What we do know is that I have plenty of energy and a zest for life!

If you're looking for a dog who wants to spend every day as a couch potato, I'm probably not your girl. I'd much rather be playing with toys, exploring the yard, going for walks, or finding someone to have fun with. Life is exciting, and I want to be part of it!

I came to Oregon from California in search of my forever home and have done well in our doggy daycare-style playgroups, where I've enjoyed spending time with the other dogs. I'm a social girl who likes having friends around.

At 20 pounds, I'm a great size-not too tiny and not too big. I'm easy to take along on adventures, but sturdy enough to keep up when it's time to play.
