We are not quite sure of Groucho's backstory or or how he ended up a stray, on the streets alone. The only thing we know, is that he is safe with us now, as long as he needs to find his forever home.

Weighing in at 4.9lbs, Groucho is proof that the best things really do come in the smallest packages. This teeny tiny Chihuahua is the ultimate lap dog - sweet, affectionate, and always up for a cuddle. Scoop him up for a hold and he'll melt right into your arms. Give him a spot on your lap and a few gentle pets, and you'll have made a friend for life.

Groucho is described by the volunteers who love him as happy-go-lucky and curious, always keeping an eye (and a nose) on the world around him. And he's quite the vocalist! Some say he has the cutest little howl, others swear he's just singing his favorite song. Nobody's quite sure what he's saying, but everyone agrees it's absolutely adorable.

Groucho's nemesis might be thunderstorms. Hard pass for this little guy. He just needs a family who will cuddle him close while the storm passes and provide assurance that everything will be ok. Sounds reasonable to us!
