Trinity - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Pointe-fortune, Quebec

Meet Trinity, a proud Chihuahua, a senior girl and, as she would probably tell you, a tripawd—but certainly not a dog who feels sorry for herself!

I arrived at Animatch with a posse of other Chihuahuas after our person simply found themselves with too many dogs. I dont have much of a history to share, and since I only speak Dog, I cant tell you what happened to my missing leg. What I can tell you is this: I adapted, I figured it out, and I get around just fine!

Thats the wonderful thing about us tripawds—we dont sit around thinking about what were missing. We simply get on with life. And that is exactly what I intend to do!

At 12+ years old, Im a senior lady, and I think Ive earned a quieter life with someone who will appreciate me for the wonderful little dog I am. Id love several short walks each day to keep these three legs strong and healthy, followed by some quality time with my people. I was never mistreated in my previous home, but with so many dogs around, I didnt get much one-on-one attention. I think Im ready to discover how nice it is to be someones special girl.

You can help me stay mobile by keeping me at a healthy weight—although I should warn you that I consider ear scratches every bit as rewarding as cookies! And because three legs can sometimes make slippery floors a bit challenging, a few strategically placed rugs would help me feel more secure.

Being a tripawd hasnt stopped me from enjoying life, and being a senior certainly isnt going to either. I have adapted beautifully, I still have plenty of living to do, and Im ready to spend my golden years surrounded by love, comfort and someone who thinks Im pretty darn special.
