Gia - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Pointe-fortune, Quebec

Its Chihuahua Month at Animatch! Young ones, old ones, long-haired and short-haired, light and dark we have quite the smorgasbord of Chis! Youll be seeing several of them appear on our website, all looking for homes of their own. Most arrived together from a situation where there were simply too many dogs. Thankfully, they were not mistreated or neglected; they just found themselves part of a much-too-large Chihuahua family.

Gia is one of our senior girls, and shes ready to enjoy the good life. Shes looking for a comfortable home with a few soft beds, some cozy blankets and, of course, someone who appreciates the finer things in life. Chihuahuas love to burrow, especially when the cooler weather arrives, and Gia is no exception!

But dont let her senior status fool you. Gia is a spry little lady who enjoys her daily walks and is always happy to hop in the car for a ride or tag along for a visit with friends. She still has plenty of life and adventure left in her.

By about 8:00 p.m., however, Gia knows exactly what she wants: a little Netflix binge, a quick bedtime pee break and then off to dreamland. Shed happily burrow under the covers with you, but if thats not allowed, a fuzzy bed and a pile of fleecy blankets will do just fine. Add a little peace and quiet and youll soon hear the sweet sound of senior Chihuahua snores!

All Gia is asking for is a kind-hearted person who can see beyond her age and appreciate what a wonderful companion a senior dog can be. She has earned the chance to spend her golden years surrounded by love, comfort and someone who thinks she is pretty special.
