Meet Cassie!

Cassie is an adorable 4-year-old, 8-pound Chihuahua with a loving heart and the perfect combination of playful energy and snuggly affection. Shes looking for a family that will appreciate her sweet personality and give her all the love shes ready to return.

Cassie enjoys the company of other small dogs and would love to have a canine friend to play with in her new home. She has a playful side and shows a mild interest in toys, but her favorite pastime is spending time with her people. Whether shes curled up in your lap, sitting right beside you on the couch, or asking for pets, Cassie is happiest when shes close to the ones she loves.

While in CRTs care, Cassie underwent two surgeries to correct luxating patellas in both of her back knees. She has healed beautifully and is feeling so much better! Her improved comfort allows her to enjoy walks, playtime, and all the cuddles she deserves.

She has excellent house manners and is doing great with potty training, even going to the door to let you know when she needs to go outside. Cassie is also crate trained and views her crate as her safe place, happily settling in when its time to rest. She walks nicely on a harness and leash and enjoys getting out for neighborhood strolls.

When meeting new people, Cassie can be vocal and will bark until she feels comfortable. Because she alerts to unfamiliar people and noises, she is not a good fit for apartment or shared-wall living. Once she gets to know you, though, her affectionate personality shines, and shes eager to soak up all the attention and cuddles you can give.

Cassies experience with cats is unknown, but she has done well with other small dogs. If youre looking for a loyal little companion who will happily accompany you on walks, cuddle in your lap, and become your constant shadow, Cassie may be the perfect addition to your family.

Cassie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready for adoption This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $300.00 adoption donation required.
