About Lilly:

Lilly is an incredibly brave 18 lb Chihuahua who recently survived a house fire. She has fully healed from her injuries—and while she has a few permanent patches where her hair won't grow back, it only highlights what a survivor she is!

Because so much has changed in her life over the past two weeks, Lilly is currently VERY scared in new situations and needs a gentle touch. When she gets overwhelmed, her safe space is in your arms—she truly just wants to be held and comforted.

Despite her fears, her foster mom says she is making huge strides every single day! She walks great on a leash and is very clean, reliably doing her business both outside and on her potty pads inside. She does great with other dogs and kids, and her absolute favorite thing in the world is sitting in a cozy lap. Lilly just needs a patient family to hold her close and show her that she is safe now.

Lilly is LOCATED in South Mississippi, with TRANSPORT AVAILABLE (for an additional fee) to approved adopters in several locations between the gulf Coast and Vermont. That's why she is listed in several cities. For out-of-town adopters, virtual meet-and-greets are performed on Facetime, Whatsapp or Google Meets.
