At just 1 year old, Lyra has already experienced heartbreak. She was used for breeding and discarded when she was no longer considered profitable. Thankfully, Lyra is now safe with us—and she’s beginning to show the happy, loving dog she was always meant to be.

Lyra is affectionate, cuddly, and full of energy. She loves to run and play, then curl up on the couch with her favorite people. She seems to do well with other dogs, while her compatibility with cats is still being assessed.
