Demeter is a beautiful calico who is almost a year old. She gets her name from the Greek goddess Demeter, who is partially known as a fierce "mama bear" or protector of her young. Our Demeter is a mama to two kittens, and she is wonderful to them! She spends most of her time cuddled up with them or sunbathing in her room.

Demeter is a very gentle girl who is still a bit shy since coming to the shelter. She is very kind and loves gentle pets. With some time, we think that she will break out of her shell and show a wonderfully fun personality!
