Petunia **FOSTER/FOSTER-TO-ADOPT** - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in New York, New York

Meet Petunia — a lovely 1-year-old, ~7-lb chihuahua mix with a sweet, easygoing disposition. Eden found herself without a home and has been graciously cared for by our partner rescue in the San Diego area. Now, she's ready for her next chapter: a real home of her own in NYC.

Petunia is both dog and human-friendly, and settles in easily around new faces. She's been doing well in her foster home, but with a any transition it's likely she may need some continued house and basic obedience training—nothing a little patience and consistency won't solve. Petunia is cat approved as evidenced by the photos!

Journey to a forever home: Petunia is flying from the San Diego area with a brief stop to NYC, arriving at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) (date to be deteremined) but likely the beginning of August.

Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, heartworm negative, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
