Sweet sweet Belle is a one year chihuahua that entered into a high kill shelter and was absolutely petrified. She sat in a corner shaking. We were asked to come get her, and she has been with us a few days now and is just now starting to come out of her shell. She is extremely leery of people, but can be bribed with treats. She is going to need a patient adopter to teach her that people are not all that bad.
