PEPPER

🇺🇸
Mead, Colorado
October 13th
female, small, baby
DESCRIPTION
Meet Pepper! This 4–5-month-old Chihuahua mix is a professional lap warmer, sunbathing enthusiast, and enthusiastic fan of her people. She loves playing with dogs big and small, then settling in for some quality cuddle time. Pepper is generally great with other dogs, though she prefers to keep her lap privileges to herself and may growl if another dog tries to share her human. She’s not much of a barker, walks great on a leash, and is working on her potty training. Crate training, however, is a work in progress. Let’s just say Pepper has some very strong opinions about being kenneled, and she’s not afraid to share them with the entire neighborhood. If you’re looking for a tiny sidekick who loves sunshine, snuggles, and being wherever you are, Pepper might be your girl!
Pepper is being fostered in Fort Collins, Colorado.
*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
