Velvet arrived at the shelter on September 13th, 2026, and has shown herself to be sweet and calm, an easygoing presence that makes her a joy to be around.

Velvet has already had surgery to correct cherry eye in both eyes and has been spayed, so she's ready to head straight into her new home without any additional procedures needed.

Velvet is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy spot in a home of her own. This sweet, calm girl has plenty of love ready for the family lucky enough to adopt her.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
