Mama Latte *Arriving 8/22* D12132 - Chihuahua and Rat Terrier Dog for Adoption

I'm Mama Latte, a petite 3-year-old Chihuahua-Rat Terrier mix with a striking white and golden ticked coat! I'm spayed, heartworm-treated, and ready for my forever home with a family that will shower me with love. I'm great with kids and known for being affectionate, gentle, and loyal - I'll be your devoted little shadow.

Mama Latte is a sweet, gentle girl who can be a little timid at first, but she warms up quickly once she has a chance to get comfortable. Her favorite time of day is pretty much anytime her humans are home. She loves being around her people and especially enjoys relaxing in her favorite bed.

Mama Latte has lived around cats without issue and has also been around children under 10. She enjoys playing chase with other dogs, giving her a nice balance between playful and laid-back.

She currently stays comfortably in an x-pen, walk-in kennel, or gated area rather than a traditional crate. She allows her foster to put a leash on her, but she has not quite figured out the walking part yet, so she will need some patient guidance as she learns.

Mama Latte is happiest when she can be part of everyday life with her people. She may need a little time to settle in at first, but once she does, she is content simply knowing her humans are nearby.

Mama Latte is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 8/22/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
