Tallulah came to rescue in pretty poor body condition. She is about 14 years old, has skin issues and wonky senior blood values. She reacted badly to her first round of antibiotics, so we had to try again with an anabiotic injection. We hope to get her spayed and sorely needed dental as soon as she is healthy enough. Check back here and our Facebook site as we learn more about Tallulah.
WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.
If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required, which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.
ADOPTION FEE of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap, so thank you for understanding and helping us save as many as possible.
We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know via email and we will try to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee the animal will be at the event without an approved application. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage or our
FB site to find out where we will be this week.
Please email lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.
