Meet Penelope — The Chihuahua Whose Legs Didn’t Get the Memo!

You know how Chihuahuas are supposed to be tiny little dogs with short legs and big personalities? Well, Penelope got the Chihuahua memo... and then completely ignored the part about the legs.

At 2 years old and 12.3 pounds, this girl comes with extra leg, extra personality, and a whole lot of potential to steal your heart!

Penelope is looking for a family who will see her for the wonderful little dog she is. She’s got that adorable Chihuahua charm, just with a little extra legroom! Maybe she was supposed to be a Chihuahua, but somebody accidentally checked the long-leg box.

And let’s be honest, those longer legs might come in handy when she’s racing around the house, following you from room to room, or making sure she never misses an opportunity to be part of whatever you’re doing.

Now all she needs is someone to call her own. Someone who will love her, keep her safe, and never make her feel like she doesn’t belong.

Penelope is currently in Puerto Rico. Once adopted, we will arrange her flight to an airport near her new family so she can begin her next chapter.
