Toffee - Chihuahua and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

What's sweeter than caramel apples, pumpkin spice, and cozy fall mornings? TOFFEE!

Toffee is a tiny sweetheart with a HUGE love for her humans! According to her Florida foster family, she's a professional snuggler who wants nothing more than to be close to her favorite people. Whether you're curled up on the couch watching a fall movie or relaxing with a warm cup of cider, Toffee would happily claim a spot right in your lap!

This little lady has done well around both cats and other dogs, although she does have a bit of a sassy side! If another furry friend gets too close to her favorite snacks or tries to steal her prime lap real estate, she isn't afraid to voice her opinion! After all, a girl knows what she wants!

A little extra TLC for Toffee: This sweet girl recently underwent FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery on her leg and is still recovering. She'll need a family committed to helping her continue healing, following veterinary recommendations, and providing appropriate exercise and rehabilitation. Physical therapy could be especially beneficial to help her regain strength, mobility, and confidence as she recovers!

We're still getting to know Toffee as she settles into life at Baypath, but one thing is already clear - this little girl has so much love to give!

If you're looking for a sweet little companion to keep you warm all autumn long, Toffee might just be your perfect cup of cozy!

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
