Meet Canelo!

Canelo is an adorable, scruffy little guy with a big personality! He's playful, active, curious, and loves being around his people once he feels comfortable. Canelo can be nervous at first and needs a little time to warm up and realize he's safe, but with some patience (and maybe a few treats!), his sweet personality starts to shine.

Canelo enjoys stuffed toys and has previously done well with children. He also has an independent, adventurous side and has been known to be a bit of an escape artist, so his future family will want to keep him safe and secure. He is not yet house trained and will need a patient family ready to help him learn the routines and skills that come with living in a home.

Canelo has done well with dog friends and may enjoy having a canine buddy in his new home. He has not lived with cats before, so we aren't sure how he feels about them just yet.

This sweet boy is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give him the time he needs to settle in, build his confidence, and feel at home. He can't wait for plenty of playtime, companionship, training, and-of course-a cozy bed to snuggle into at the end of the day!
