Precious little Archie is currently being cared for in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. He is scheduled to arrive in Virginia on the 11th and will be around 9 weeks old. You do not have to wait until he arrives to make this darling pup a part of your family. You can submit your application today to secure your chance to adopt Archie and give him the beautiful life he deserves. His mom is a medium sized dog and is in the listing. We aren't sure what dad is. He is good with kids, other dogs, and is young enough to be socialized with cats.

Background: This sweet puppys journey started with a heartbreaking situation when his mother's previous owner moved away and left the poor dog behind to fend for herself. Alone and abandoned, the mother ended up pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful litter of babies. Thankfully, a kind neighbor noticed the situation, stepped in to feed the vulnerable family, and provided a safe haven for them. While that wonderful neighbor chose to officially keep and love the mother dog, they reached out to rescue groups to help find the perfect forever homes for the puppies.

98% of our adoptables come from out of state. There are higher fees associated as we have to pay to have the animals transported. We are a non-profit rescue. Any access revenue made is used to care for animals with additional medical expenditures that would otherwise result in adoptable dogs having to be left behind and euthanized.

The adoption fee for this dog is $600 which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter. You will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will need proof of sterilization from the vet in order to receive the $100.
