Misty - Chihuahua and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

If you are looking for your one true love who will stay by your side through thick and thin, look no further-Misty is her name! This sweet three-year-old female Chihuahua mix is 13 pounds of pure devotion and is completely fully grown.
Misty is an incredibly intelligent girl who forms a deep, soulful connection with her people. When she looks at you, she looks truly into your eyes, as if she is reading your heart. She is the ultimate sidekick and is always ready for an adventure. She absolutely loves to go for walks, and she gets so excited whenever it is time for a car ride-she jumps right in and is an excellent traveler!
She is already fully potty trained and loves nothing more than to curl up and sleep right next to her human, cuddling as close as she can get. She also gets along great with other dogs her own size and is currently discovering her playful side, happily learning how to play.
Originally found as a lonely stray, Misty may not have been given all the love she deserved in her early life. Because of that, she might need a moment to realize she is safe, but her bright mind and loyal heart shine through instantly. She is so ready to find a forever home where she can be showered with the love and security she has always wanted.
Could you be Misty's perfect match?

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
