Milo is a Chi mix and the kind of dog that makes you smile without even trying. He's a quirky little guy with a big personality (equal parts whimsical and affectionate) and his favorite thing in the world is giving kisses. If you sit down, there's a very good chance he'll find his way into your lap and settle in for a cuddle. He's happiest when he's close to his people, whether that's lounging at home or tagging along for a walk.

He absolutely loves being outside and would thrive with someone who enjoys longer walks and letting him take in the world at his own pace. Milo is also a total social butterfly (which is an understatement) he lights up around other dogs and really looks to them for comfort and companionship, so a home with another friendly pup would be ideal for him.

He's still figuring a few things out, like how to fully embrace playtime (he wants to play all the time, he's just acclimated to day to day life), and he's making great progress with crate training. He's potty trained, walks on a leash, and while he gets a little extra excited when he sees other dogs, it's only because he can't wait to say hello.

Milo does have a sensitive side as slippery floors and unfamiliar thresholds can make him nervous, and in those moments he'll do his signature "splat" and look to his person for reassurance (and maybe a quick carry). With a little patience and encouragement, he continues to build confidence every day.

Despite being a chihuahua mix, Milo isn't much of a barker. Instead, he's a gentle, happy, tail-wagging boy who loves people, enjoys a good window-watching session, and will happily be your built-in best friend and nap buddy.

If you're looking for a sweet, slightly goofy, incredibly loving dog who wants to be your shadow and your snuggle partner, Milo might just be your guy.
