ChiChi - Chihuahua and Pomeranian Dog for Adoption in Durham, North Carolina

Could you use some ChiChi in your life?!

This little guy is ChiChi. He is believed to be a chihuahua/pomeranian (ChiPom) mix. ChiChi is 8 years old and weighs 13 pounds. He has a gorgeous red coat. ChiChi came to rescue in rough shape. He was scared and emaciated as his previous owner had become too old to take care of him. However, now ChiChi is healthy, up to date on everything, loving, and a very smart and well-mannered sweetheart ready for his forever home!

Though ChiChi may growl when he initially meets you, once he warms up to you he is a total lovebug! Give him a treat or two and he will love you. ChiChi loves toys, rides well in the car, and is leash and house trained. He loves to play outside. His preference is to sleep at the foot of your bed but he will also accept sleeping in a dog bed nearby. Musts for ChiChi are a fenced yard and an experienced owner. He does well with small dogs but will bark at big ones. He previously was an only dog and prefers to be close to his human.

ChiChi is fully vetted and up to date on all vaccines. He is neutered, microchipped, and takes heartworm prevention monthly. He is heartworm negative.

ChiChi’s adoption donation is $300.

An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.

Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.

Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
