Sweet Cookie is a 7-year-old Beagle looking for her forever home for her golden years. Though don't let her frosty face full you - she's got a lot of pep in her!
Cookie loves to cuddle, especially on the couch. So far she hasn't been big into walks - it's possible she is still adjusting to a new location, though she loves to play chase in the backyard with her foster fur sibling, so a home with a fenced in yard may be best for her. She so far prefers sniffing around and ambling around the backyard to walks. Cookie is great in her crate - her foster family uses it when away running errands and at night. She is dog and cat friendly - mainly just ignoring the cat. She was a bit timid at first in her foster home, and the resident dogs seemed to help her warm up, though we believe she would also be fine as an only dog. Once she settled in, her foster family noticed that her tail is always wagging when she sees them - she's a very sweet girl. She also really liked playing with toys and chewing on them.
Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.
STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
