🥜 Peanut Butter has been loved every single day of his long life -- but when his dad had to move into assisted living, this sweet little soul needed a new place to call home. At around 14 years old and just 6 lbs, he's one of the most easygoing dogs you'll ever meet. He gets along great with other dogs, takes everything in stride, and has just one big wish: to be close to his person. A lap, a couch cushion, a spot by your feet -- that's all he needs.
🦷 Don't let his unique smile throw you off -- Peanut Butter is missing part of his lower jaw and has no teeth, but he eats like an absolute champ. He wears a belly band without complaint and is mostly potty trained. He does have a slight heart enlargement and a heart murmur, both managed with daily medication he'll need long-term, but outside of that he's in good health and has plenty of love left to give.
🏡 We know it's a special request, but we are hoping to find Peanut Butter a home in the Houston area. His dad misses him terribly, and it would mean the world to both of them if his new family would be open to a couple of visits a year. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal little companion who just wants to be by your side, Peanut Butter might be exactly who you've been waiting for.
