Meet Junie!
Junie is a happy-go-lucky girl with a big heart -- literally and figuratively. She has cardiomegaly (an enlarged heart) and a heart murmur, both of which are being managed beautifully with daily medication. Thankfully, none of that slows down her sunshine-filled personality one bit.

Her favorite thing in the world is being with her people. If you're moving around the house, Junie will be right behind you, making sure she doesn't miss a thing. If you're sitting down, she'll happily curl up beside you on the couch for a nap. She simply loves being part of whatever her humans are doing.

Junie is also a major foodie! Same girl! Mealtime is easily one of the highlights of her day, and she'll gladly remind you when she thinks it's snack time.

When she's not following her favorite people around, you'll usually find her snoozing away. Junie enjoys her naps and has perfected the art of relaxing, especially when it involves a comfy couch and a human nearby.

She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. She's happy to go outside when encouraged, but she's also comfortable using pee pads. Junie is crate trained and can sleep in a kennel, though she may need a few minutes to settle in. Like many senior dogs, she occasionally has accidents in her crate.

More than anything, Junie is looking for a home where she can spend her days being loved, spoiled, and close to her people.
