DESCRIPTION
Meet Alfie!
4 years old | Chihuahua mix | 8 lbs
Alfie is a tiny guy with a sweet little soul who is slowly discovering that the world isn't so scary after all. This shy boy is coming out of his shell a little more every day, and we're loving getting to see his personality emerge!
Once he's comfortable, Alfie loves playing with his toys and is very food-motivated-which is great news for anyone ready to win his heart with tasty treats! He's also an A+ sleeper who happily sleeps through the night. And he's doing well with the resident cat in his foster home!
Alfie is still learning the ropes when it comes to house training, but he's making progress and just needs a family willing to give him some patience, consistency, and encouragement as he figures it all out.
With a little time and a whole lot of love, we think Alfie is going to blossom into the most wonderful little companion. If you're looking for a sweet boy whose trust you can earn and whose personality you can watch unfold, Alfie may be your guy!

ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
