Meet Billy Jean!! This pint-sized pupper came to Orphan Annie's at 3 days old from a partner rescue. Born in care, Billy Jean was the runt of the litter, weighing half the size of her littermates. At 135 grams (4.5 ounces), she just couldn't keep up at the milk bar, and needed some extra support. We attempted to reunite her with her siblings at about 3.5 weeks old, but she was not about that life; and a hunger strike had her right back in the incubator at Orphan Annie's. This feisty love-nugget has been hand-raised and bottle fed. She has known only the love, tenderness, and meticulous care provided by our wonderful bottle baby fosters. Billy Jean has had her first round of vaccines, is microchipped, dewormed, current on heartworm and flea and tick prevention. Since she is too young to safely spay, her adoption fee includes an appointment at our veterinary partner for a spay when she is between 4-6 months.
