Meet Esmie! She's shy, she's tiny, she's desperately seeking a safe place to snuggle with her favorite human.

Esmie is a tiny little toy poodle, weighing in at a whopping 5 pounds. She came into rescue so that we could help match her with the perfect home for her, and that is exactly what we aim to do. Esmie is still learning how to go potty outside, but will go straight away when brought outside often. She is smart and quick to learn. She has already mastered coming back in the doggie door, and will continue working on going out when she needs to potty.

Esmie is very shy and is seeking a quiet home where she can curl up on her person's lap and enjoy soft pets and quiet time. She is incredibly sweet, and has shown absolutely no aggression or resource guarding with any items, food, or people. She gets along great with cats, dogs, and people. We are seeking a home without small children due to her very small size and her shy behavior, not because she has ever shown any tendency to react negatively.
