Zelie - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Abbotsford, British Columbia

ZELIE - FROSTED FACE, YOUNG HEART, BIG PERSONALITY! PLEASE DON'T LET THE WHITE ON HER FACE FOOL YOU!

Zelie keeps getting overlooked because people see her frosted little face and assume she's an older Chihuahua. But look a little closer! Those pearly whites have us guessing she's around 5 years old, and once she's comfortable, she'll show you she's got plenty of pep left in her step!

Meet Zelie (pronounced Zay-Lee) - a petite little Chi-ish girl with a cautious heart, a playful spirit, and a personality worth waiting for. Her family tree may have a few mystery branches! Zelie's legs are a little longer than your typical Chihuahua, so there could possibly be some Min Pin or Rat Terrier mixed in there somewhere. But whatever her DNA says, trust us - this girl is 100% Chihuahua at heart!

Zelie was found wandering on her own and understandably needs some time to feel safe with new people and surroundings. She isn't an instant best friend, but give her patience, a little space, and the chance to come around on her own, and watch her blossom! Once comfortable, Zelie is an energetic, playful little girl with LOTS of personality. She's curious, silly, and ready to enjoy life.

And when the day's adventures are over? UNDER THE COVERS! Zelie LOVES snuggling in bed with her people and burrowing beneath the blankets like the tiny Chihuahua burrito she was born to be.

She's not old. She's not boring. And she's certainly not finished living! She simply needs someone patient enough to see past her frosty face and cautious first impression to discover the fun, affectionate little girl underneath.

Zelie weighs in at around 10 lbs, is already spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. Don't scroll past Zelie. Her frosty face may catch your eye, but her personality will steal your heart.
