Meet Pringle!

This teeny little girl has already had quite the start to life. Pringle and her two littermates were found stuffed in a milk carton under a bridge. At less than 2 pounds each, these tiny babies are now safe, warm, and getting all the love they deserve.

Born around mid-July, Pringle appears to be an adorable little Yorkie/Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Basically, someone tossed three tiny breeds into a blender and hit the "ridiculously cute" button.

Pringle is a sweet, itty-bitty baby who needs some extra TLC, nutritious food, and lots of love while she grows stronger. What she lacks in pounds, she makes up for in preciousness.

Her beginning may have been heartbreaking, but we're determined to make sure the rest of her story is filled with soft beds, full bellies, tiny toys, and a family who absolutely adores her.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.

***Take Paws Rescue, based in New Orleans, saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!

Originating from England, these affectionate and intelligent dogs make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. With a weight of around 7 pounds, Yorkies are portable and adaptable, thriving in both city apartments and rural settings. Despite their small size, they possess a bold and confident nature, always ready for fun and adventure.
