Meet Scooby: Scooby is about a 4 year old (as of May 2026) chiweenie mix (best guess) that weighs 18 pounds. Scooby was originally surrendered by his owner to a shelter in Memphis when they said they couldn't afford to feed him anymore. The shelter staff were happy when he was adopted, but then 3 months later Scooby was found on the streets as a neglected stray. Scooby is now in our rescue and we have promised him we will find him the loving home he deserves! Scooby is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Scooby has a remarkably friendly personality. Scooby loves every person he meets as if they have been lifelong friends. Scooby fit right in to his multi dog foster home and immediately jumped in the lap of his foster dad as if they had always been best buds. Scooby is friendly and playful, and makes a great lap companion / bed buddy. It doesn't take any effort to fall in love with this great guy. Scooby is house trained to a doggie door. We would love for Scooby to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely, but it's not a requirement. Scooby is up to date on his shots and neutered.
