Meet Murry: Murry is a 3 year old (as of May 2026) chi-weenie mix (best guess) that weighs only about 13 pounds. Murry was found on the streets of Memphis and brought into a shelter. Murry wasn't getting any interest at the shelter and he was put on the dreaded list at no fault of his own. Luckily, we were able to get him into our rescue and spring him from the shelter in time. Murry is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Murry is such a wonderful, affectionate dog with no signs of his free roaming independent days on the street. Murry seems to understand commands to come here and would probably be more of a velcro dog if he weren't residing in a foster home where there was a lot of competition for attention. Murry gets along well with people and dogs and is a great pet awaiting the lucky adopter. Murry is currently using a doggie door and may need some patience as he adjusts to a new house training method. We would love for Murry to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely, but it is not a requirement. Murry is up to date on his shots and is neutered.
