Good with dogs? Yes, he’s being fostered with his sister and loves to play with the other dog in his home. He may do well in a home with another dog for companionship and role modeling. So far, he has only played with other energetic, small dogs.

Good with cats? Cale chases the cats in his foster home and does not listen when they want him to back off, but he does lose interest after a while and can be refocused on something else.

Good with kids? Cale is a typical puppy who is mouthy, so any interactions with kids should be monitored.

Energy level: Medium. He loves to play with all kinds of toys, especially squeaky and crinky ones, and would probably love walks but has a short attention span. He goes outside every few hours to play, plays indoors, and plays with his doggie friends.

Animal Characteristics: Cale Makar is a happy, playful puppy. He’s a snuggle bug who loves to sit next to his human and will not hesitate to jump in your lap! He will sit at your feet asking for attention and talking to you. He is learning how to sit, is happy to ride in a car and working on crate training and potty training. Like all puppies, Cale is loads of fun and also plenty of work! He will benefit from continued socialization and training so that he grows up to be the very best mannered boy!
