Meet Bean!
Bean is an adorable 8-year-old gentleman with a heart full of love and a serious talent for snuggling. This sweet boy is looking for a home where he can enjoy all the comforts of family life—especially a cozy spot next to his favorite humans.
Bean is completely housebroken and has been a perfect house guest when it comes to potty training. He happily follows his people to the door when he needs to go outside and has had no accidents in foster care.
One thing Bean has made very clear is that he loves being close to his humans! He isn't a fan of the crate and would much rather be curled up in bed with his people. In fact, the first time he was invited onto a bed, he immediately snuggled into the pillows and burrowed under the blankets like a seasoned pro. It's easy to see that Bean has enjoyed the comforts of home life before and would love a family willing to share their couch—and maybe even their bed!
Bean is a true cuddle bug who enjoys relaxing with his people. He has a gentle, easygoing personality and has shown no signs of snapping, nipping, or aggression. Even when having his paws dried off (not his favorite activity), he simply pulls them away rather than reacting negatively.
When it comes to meals, Bean can be a little quirky. He enjoys kibble but isn't interested in canned food. He seems to prefer eating while spending time with his people and often eats best when relaxing together on the couch.
Bean does bark occasionally when outside if he hears neighborhood children or other dogs nearby, but he is generally quiet and well-mannered indoors.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves cuddles, companionship, and being part of the family, Bean may be the perfect match for you. This sweet senior boy is ready to spend his golden years with you!
Visit STAF.org for more information on our adoption process. *** Email adoptadog@STAF.org for next steps! ***
• All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
• We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
• We do request vet and personal references.
• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter
