Meet Oliver!

Oliver is a 9-month-old poodle mix with a heart as big as his personality! Weighing just over 18 pounds, this sweet boy may be small in size, but he’s overflowing with love. Pulled from a county shelter, Oliver got a second chance—and he’s making the absolute most of it by loving his people with everything he’s got.

From the moment he meets you, Oliver is ready to snuggle in close—he truly just wants to be near his humans and soak up all the affection he can get. He’s the definition of a cuddle bug, happiest when he’s by your side, whether that’s curled up on the couch or following you from room to room.

Don’t be deceived by his tiny stature—Oliver is quite the little athlete! He can jump and climb better than you might expect, so he’ll need a home with a secure, privacy-style fence or a commitment to being walked on a leash. For his safety, he should never be left unsupervised in a yard.

• All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
• We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
• We do request vet and personal references.
• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
