Introducing this happily married couple, Finn & Riley. (Finn, a handsome Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix in white with black/tan then, Riley, a stunning Chihuahua mix in tan & white)
They met one night, last year while searching for food in the dark, scarry streets of KY. Finn swept Riley off her paws & they've been together ever since! Finn brings to the marriage 4 years of training with outgoing social skills, Riley brings 2 years of her bubbly personality & nice etiquette to the table. Together they have built a wonderful life but are now ready to share that with a human or two!

Both dogs are well behaved. They get along well with the other small dogs in their Foster Home. Sometimes they all play together (see Video) sometimes it's just the two of them. Indoors they like a variety of toys from the plush crinkle type to Nylabones, twice a week, Finn sneaks in a gullet or bully stick, for their "big" treat, they need to stay fit to maintain their ideal weight of 12 pounds each. Riley has longer legs & body, with a slim frame, where Finn is short & stocky.

This couple has done everything together, through thick & thin, that is why they are seeking a home that welcomes both with open arms. Someone who has the love to offer, two happy, snuggly dogs. (They have not been around kids so they are looking for a home where "they" will be the kids.)

When Finn & Riley arrived at their Foster Home last month they were both scared & sat together huddled for a couple days in their private room, left to rest & decompress from the big move. Then Finn decided to be the man he is & check out this new lady who was feeding them some really good stuff & washed off all those fleas that were making us so itchy & uncomfortable. She passed the "sniff" test, now I need to convince my Wife that she's "good" people. After several days of perusing, Riley came around & now we are having lots of fun on our honeymoon, but as we all know those don't last forever, so the two of us are Ready to Go HOME, the question is, will that be with you? Veterinarian references are Always verified. Your Veterinarian must confirm with K9LLR that your past/ present dogs Heartworm Testing is up to date & Preventative has been purchased/scripted along with current Rabies. Call your Veterinarian Before applying to give permission for them to release information to K9LLR & check that all their records are complete & accurate.

Some of our dogs & puppies are mixed breeds & in most cases we do not know who their parents were. We do our best to properly Breed ID our pups, however we cannot be 100% sure of any mix breed.

All puppies & dogs have had a wellness exam by a licensed Veterinarian. They are healthy to the best of our knowledge & come with a Certified Health Certificate (CVI). All adult dogs are heartworm tested & have had spay or neuter surgery. Dental surgery is done on dogs with severe dental disease. Most PUPPIES Will need continued Distemper/Parvo vaccine, a Rabies Vaccine & deworming, this is the adopters responsibility. All dogs & puppies are fed high quality dog foods while in the care of K9LLR. We hope our adopters follow suit and are happy to discuss nutrition with you.
