What we know: Litter of 6 transferred from Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley in NM. Found on the side of road when finder was on his way to work, he drove the road looking for mom but could not find her and brought the puppies to the shelter to receive proper care.
From the foster: BBQ is a playful, spunky little girl who loves to romp, snuggle, and entertain everyone with her puppy antics. One of her favorite activities is chasing and nibbling her own tail-or borrowing Dorito's tail when hers isn't exciting enough!
She warms up quickly to new people, is comfortable being held, and is already doing very well with potty training. BBQ sleeps quietly overnight in a crate with Dorito, rides well in the car, and has shown no signs of resource guarding.
BBQ is ready to bring plenty of laughs, cuddles, and playful puppy fun to her forever home!

ABOUT: CATTLE DOG DOG BREED
The Cattle Dog is a diligent and robust herding breed known for its agility, intelligence, and hardworking nature. Originating in Australia, Cattle Dogs are highly energetic and require ample exercise and mental stimulation. With their remarkable problem solving skills and unwavering loyalty, they excel in various canine activities and make excellent companions for active owners. Their distinctive blue or red coat, sturdy build, and alert expression reflect their heritage as versatile working dogs.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
